More severe asthma symptoms can begin with itching of the face and eyes, but quickly progress to swelling, causing breathing difficulties, confusion, and dizziness. The symptoms of allergies can vary in severity, but mild symptoms often include congestion; skin rash; and itchy, watery eyes. Moderate symptoms can include difficulty in breathing and itchiness.
Asthma attacks are often caused by environmental triggers which include passive smoking, molds, cockroaches, pet hair, and dust mites.
