Mom. She’s always been the one to take care of you, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s your turn to take care of her. Here are 4 tips for caring for mom this Mother’s Day.

1.     Make sure she’s mobile. If mom is aging, getting around can be one of the hardest parts of her daily life. Consider how a walker, power scoot, or lift chair may improve her quality of life.

2.     Get her something pretty. When it comes to gifts, it’s the thought that counts, so get her something she’ll really love like a handbag or some new sneakers.

3.     Prepay her bills. One of the best ways to show your mom that you care is to cover a bill so she doesn’t even have to think about it. Many companies will allow you to prepay a prescription, utility, or other recurring charge, or you may be able to get a gift card.

4.     Video chat on her big day. Don’t forget that May 10 is Mother’s Day this year. Give me a video call to reminder her that you love her – even from a distance.
